Emerging Trends?
I don't know that I see any of these as emerging. They are already here.
The emerging trends:
- 90 percent of bloggers will write less than 1 article per month -- and spend twice as long complaining about how little business they are getting.
- Personal Client Web sites. Not a "listing gateway" but a true individualized site for each client. The technology is there, but not a level for individual agents and all "good" change in RE happens from bottom-up.
- Return to KISS. I have a home-office line, a direct line at the office, a cell phone, a home phone, a home fax, an office fax, half-dozen e-mails, and lots more. Does anybody care? Nope. The next move in technology is going to be to make it invisible. One phone number. One e-mail. Nobody cares where it goes, just as long as you answer.
