The place I have used to find virtual assistants is elance.com. It's a virtual site for freelancers, including personal assistants.
I have also used the www.globetask.com team, which offers a free trial of a few tasks to see if this works for you or not.
You can also get some ideas on how to find and how to utilize virtual assistants from Timothy Ferriss's book, "The four hour work week", and he has a humorous online article about this here: http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/ferriss-book-outsourcing.htm

Blogging is exciting and innovative! It is great to see NAR get involved with blogging. I started writing a blog about a month ago, and it is a great, low cost way to articulate to your clients that you are on the cutting edge of the real estate business. Plus, you end up reading (and internalizing) a lot more about real estate than you ever did before!

I think this is a terrific avenue for the older generations in real estate to connect with the younger generations of future clients and agents.
The trick in having a blog, although, is getting people to write on it. How do you get people to comment?

This is a very good idea. We have been talking about incorporating a blog into our website and maybe this will be a beginning point to show everyone how it works. The internet is the first source for many and we as REALTORS need to be aware. Thanks for moving us into this generation!

A great idea!!! I thought of it a year ago after remembering that lawyers have a personal web site (CELA)that they can share info and help each other (discreetly).
This could be a great learning tool and agents will make new partners across the divides.
My first suggestion is...put a spell check with this BLOG.

Hopefully we can help diffuse much of the negative speculation towards the current real estate market, as that's one of the reasons its so bad. Now we just need to get consumers to listen.

Blogs? I can do that. To me it's another way of saying chat. A way for me to share some of my Ideas with everyone.
It is also a great way for us to know that the Guys at the Top are interested in what we have to say.

WOW this was long overdue , this is a great idea this will really help us all, maybe we can all share the good of this market (which is GOOD) instead of bringing down the spirit of all Good Realtors, and making the public believe this is a Bad Market, I believe this is the best market for the professionals to shine and for those that are not a good time to get out!
