Technology Can Broaden Our Reach

In her latest President’s Podcast, 2007 NAR President Pat Combs discusses one of the hottest trends in technology – streaming video – and how it can help REALTORS® and associations reach more consumers and members.

For example, NAR’s Chief Technology Officer, Mark Lesswing, recently recorded his own presentation for the Region 5 Conference, showing just how easy it is for REALTORS® to produce and post their own virtual tours. Pat says her own “virtual presentation” at the National Real Estate Online Convention last month also highlights how state and local associations can combine video and the web to reach more members. In fact, some states already are using this technology to stream material from member-oriented DVDs.

NAR’s Center for REALTOR® Technology is the best resource to help REALTORS® and associations implement the RIGHT technology the RIGHT way. In fact, CRT addressed online video home tours in a recent blog.
