As all Realtors® know, real estate is a dynamic industry. The National Association of Realtors® can help you stay ahead of the curve on trends, research, and resources, if you know where to look.
One of the most valuable resources is NAR’s annual profile of home buyers and sellers. The 2006 profile is now available and contains important information about who today’s buyers and sellers are, how buyers search for homes and what they’re looking for, what motivates buyers and sellers, and why sellers chose to work with real estate professionals (or decide to go without representation).
Other research provides insight into how to market to younger buyers and what to expect from the aging baby boomer generation.
